Advertising and Donations
There are three ways to support APPEAL. The first is by becoming a Patron, the second by advertising and by purchasing a subscription to the journal. These options represent an opportunity to support student legal scholarship, and provide a means of reaching students at UVic Law and at law schools across the country.
1. PATRON OPPORTUNITIES*
Patrons are crucial to the success of APPEAL. The cost of publishing a law journal is significant, and Patrons enable us to maintain the high standards our readership has come to expect. Appeal is pleased to provide a tax receipt for our patrons.
Grand Patron: $1,500
Platinum Patron: $1,000
Gold Patron: $750
Silver Patron: $500
Bronze Patron: $250
Friend of the journal: Under $250
Patrons receive prominent acknowledgment on a page at the beginning of APPEAL. Patrons also receive a subscription to the journal.
2. ADVERTISING OPPORTUNITIES*
Advertising in APPEAL Law Review will allow your organization to custom-tailor a message to the journal’s readership, which includes students, lawyers, and academics across Canada. The advertising fee includes a subscription the journal.

Back cover: $1,500
Inside covers: $1,000
Full page: $750
Half page: $500
3. PURCHASE A SUBSCRIPTION
APPEAL is continuously seeking to expand our readership. The journal’s focus on current legal issues and reform means that it has broad applications as a practical source for research. If patronage and advertising are outside the limits of your organization’s budget for this year, please consider purchasing a subscription. Not only will you receive a journal composed of the highest quality legal scholarship, but you will be supporting the academic achievements of top law students across the country.
